The Liaquat University of Medical & Health Sciences (LUMHS), in Jamshoro, Hyderabad – is the pioneering dental education institution in the Sindh province of Pakistan. The institution will be celebrating it's Golden Jubilee on 13 & 14th of December 2013, to commemorate the completion of 5 decades of academic and medical services. On this occasion, the university will also conduct it's 2nd Dental Symposium, titled – “Oral Health, a gateway to general health,” supported by the Pakistan Dental Association. The Symposium will also include; a Dental Trade Exhibition, Workshops, a Certification & Souvenir Ceremony, along with a colorful Gala Night. The Pre symposium workshops will provide training on; Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, Crown & Bridge, Endodontics and Orthodontics. Scientific Papers will be presented on; Operative Dentistry, Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, Prosthodontics, Orthodontics, Periodontics and Community Dentistry. Numerous leading Dentists of Pakistan have expressed their interest in participating and speaking at the symposium, which is being organized by; Dr. Feroz Ali Kalhoro – Principal of LUMHS, Dr. Abdul Qadir Dall and Dr. Muneer Banglani.
