The event is being organized under the patronage of; His Highness, Sheikh Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Minister of Finance and the President of the Dubai Health Authority. It also enjoys the support of; Ministry of Health, Emirates Medical Association and Emirates Dental Society. Dr Aisha Sultan Alsuwaidi will be the Chairperson of APDC Dubai 2014.
The meeting aims to facilitate a discussion to improve and uplift the practice of dentistry, not only in this region, but the world over. Participants will be able to enrich their knowledge on the latest scientific and technological developments, be informed of the cutting-edge researches, meet and discuss with the experts and network with the various stakeholders of the dental profession.
Keynote speakers have been invited to present and share their knowledge and expertise with us in various fields of dentistry. Alongside the scientific program, an international trade exhibition will showcase the latest trends and technologies in dental sciences.
The organizer - Asia Pacific Dental Federation (APDF) is a Regional Organization of The World Dental Federation (FDI). With 27 member countries now, the APDF aims at increasing public awareness in oral and dental health; alongwith prevention and treatment of oral diseases. The commitment of the APDC towards offering high quality “Continued Dental Education” at an affordable cost is unequivocal. The Federation has decided to reduce the registration fee, to make further education accessible to more dentists, since education is a right of every individual, not a privilege.
The 3-day scientific sessions will focus on: Implant Dentistry, Aesthetics, Orthodontics, Endodontics, Periodontics and other disciplines of dentistry. Challenging clinical cases from these fields will be presented. This will be followed by a cross-examination which allows an objective evaluation from the attendees.
