MIRPURKHAS- Bhitai Dental and Medical College, Mirpurkhas, conducted a CDE program to update the Dental Surgeons on the latest developments taking place in dentistry. The event held on April 23 at the college campus was addressed by luminaries such as:
- Prof Dr Navid Rashid, Principal, Liaquat College of Medicine & Dentistry (LCMD), karachi, touching on the subject of ''Updates on tempro-mandibular joint problem''.
- Dr Abdullah Kamran, Associate Professor at LCMD's Department of Orthodontics on ''When and who should do Orthodontics''.
- Dr Abrar, Head, Assistranr Professor, CPSP Supervisor, Operative Department, Hamdard Dental College on ''Wrong concepts / practices in Endodontics'' and
- Dr Atif Jawad, Head, Assistant Professor, Department of Prosthodontics, Bhitai Dental & Medical College Mirpurkhas on the topic of ''Crown Preparation for general practitioners''.
Shields were distributed among all the speakers as also to the observer Dr Munir Banglani of LUMHS.
As per the PMDC's guidelines this CDE program, inaugrated by the college Chairman Dr Ghulam Mustafa and Principal, Dr Abdul Ghani Pathan, was held under permission from the LUMHS' CDE committee.-PR
