Lahore: First Local hand book “Shade selection for optimal esthetics” By Prof. Tayyaba Saleem was launched at 5th PPA/PAO conference in Lahore. Prof Nazia Yazdani gave an introduction to the booklet in the opening session of the occasion. She highly appreciated the effort and encouraged such trends.
This handy booklet published by IADSR Publications, is written as a quick reference for any dentist of any age and speciality practicing indirect restorations. It will help to improve the color matching and replication process integral for the success of tooth coloured restorations.
It includes step wise selection techniques, helpful tips and solutions to some common clinical problems in shade matching.
The writer is a Professor and Head Department of Prosthodontics at Dental Section, Islamabad Medical & Dental College. She has done her FCPS in Prosthodontics and holds a Master’s degree in Medical Education. She has been actively engaged in teaching Prosthodontics to undergraduates and postgraduates for the last 15 years.
