CHK withdraws parking facility over security risks

KARACHI- Civil Hospital Karachi (CHK) administration has banned parking of vehicles within the hospital’s premises following alerted by law-enforcement agencies over security risks.

According to sources, CHK administration had asked the medical staff and general public not to park their cars, motorcycles and other vehicles, in the hospital’s premises.
They said that the decision was taken following law-enforcement agencies asked the hospital administration not to allow parking of cars, motorcycles and other vehicles in the hospital’s premises.

Besides, parking of motorcycles near the hospital’s emergency ward has also been banned because of security threats, the sources said, adding that the CHK administration has also beefed up security in the hospital to avoid any untoward incident.
