Classes for 1st batch of diploma in Implant dentistry ends

KARACHI-Classes for the 1st batch of Diploma in Implant dentistry concluded here at Mehran Institute of Continuing Dental Education. Pakistan Dental Association’s (PDA) President Prof Dr.Saqib Rashid graced the concluding session of the diploma course by his presence. He appreciated the interest of participants of the diploma course and shared his experience about the world of implantology.Dr Saqib encouraged the students to learn and master surgical skills to excel in implant dentistry. The lasttheoretical session included lectures by Dr. Fazalur Rehman and Dr. Murtaza Raza Kazmi on Implant placement procedure and Prosthetic component of implant. DrMurtazaalsodiscussed the management of full mouth rehabilitation using implants. Dr.KashifNaqvi,gave a brief review about the surgical management. His interactive session was followed by a lively question-answer session. During hands-on practical session, students placed more than 130 implants on patients and improved their skills.Students will now be called on regular basis for the completion of their quota of placement of 10 implants on patients. MICDE has given fixed prosthesis to dozens of patients through their implant diploma course on a subsidized rate, making sure everyone can afford their teethsfixed.-PR
