Karachi: Dr Ishrat ul Ibad Khan Institute of Oral Health Sciences, known as DIKIOHS, is all set to move into the Dow International, Ojha Campus sources told Dental News on Friday. However earlier on it was to move to Chanesar Goth.
Rumours of moving to Dow International spread through a post on social media and dental News when contacted some faculty and admin staff got conflicting reports. It was also through the social media that academic classes for BDS will remain suspended from the 11th to the 20th of August 2014 due to the campus shifting.
DIKIOHS was currently located in the premises of the Sindhi Medical College, and there was immense pressure on the administration of DUHS to shift the college into any one of their existing buildings. Finally SMC has given them a notice to vacate within 3 months. This is a developing story and Dental News will keep its readers posted.
