KARACHI: A Medico Legal Officer of Jinnah Hospital, Dr Manzoor Memon, was shot dead, along with his driver, in a gruesome incidence of terrorism, in Delhi Colony, on Tuesday.
Dr. Memon was travelling in his car towards his home when four unidentified men intercepted him on two motorcycles, firing indiscriminately at his car. The attack killed Dr. Memon and his driver, Aashiq Ali. Both the dead bodies have been shifted to Jinnah Hospital. The Police and Rangers reached the crime spot and began investigations immediately.
The Doctors fraternity at Jinnah hospital have announced closure of OPD's at JPMC on wednesday, to protest against the murder and urge the authorities to apprehend the culprits.
