`Employee of the Year’ ceremony LCMD-Dental section lauds employees’ performance

 

KARACHI- LCMD, Dental section organized a colourful and an impressive ceremony to honour its employees who were adjudged as the “Employee of the Year” for their outstanding performance in their respective fields.

The recipients of the title included staff members, doctors, paramedics and dental staff.

The largely attended ceremony held in the dental OPD of LCMD was attended, among others, by Vice Chairman Dr. Syed Ali Farhan Razi, Dental College Principal Prof (Dr) Navid Rashid Qureshi, Medical College Principal Dr Rashid Naseem, vice principals Dr Naheed Najmi, Dr Abdullah Kamran, Dr Irum Raja and the heads of basic sciences departments. Justice Hassan Feroz graced the occasion as chief guest.

Dr. Jahangir and Dr. Danish of Operative and Periodontics departments, respectively, were declared as the “Best Dental Officers” of the year, while Dr. Talha and Dr. Farheen of Orthodontics and Operative departments, respectively, were declared as the “Best Demonstrators”.

Mr Khurram, Mr Hannan, Mr Azeem and Mr Taj Sultan were declared as the `Best Assistant’, `Best Nursing’, `Best Receptionist’ and `Best Coordinator, respectively, of the year. 

In the special category awards, Dr Sajjad of Crown and Bridge department got the award for his excellent performance, while Mr Sohail, Miss Sana, Mr Sharjeel, Miss Khadija, Mr Kashif, Mr Abdul Rehman and Mr Kazim were rewarded for bringing improvement and achieving targets in a short span of time.

Speaking on the occasion, chief guest Justice Hassan Feroz, felicitated all those who were awarded for their best performance and gave away certificates and cash prizes among them amid loud applause from their colleagues and the audience.

Lauding the management of the college for organizing the event successfully, Mr Feroz also passed some kind words and encouraging remarks about the runners-up.

Earlier, tracing the history of the college, Prof (Dr) Navid Rashid Qureshi, said that the credit for the success of LCMD goes to his colleagues, staff members as well as to those who did their graduation from the institute.

The event which began with the recitation of Holy Quran by Mr Azeem Khan was hosted by Dental OPD’s assistant administrator Dr Sanam Sheikh.
