Rawalpindi: Margalla Institute of Health Sciences has announced the launch of its Alumni Association. All the Margalla’s graduates who were once part of or have graduated from Margalla were invited to a launch event from Pakistan and abroad.
Event started with the name of Allah, followed by introductory speech by Dr. Nauman Bari. Dr Bari introduced the objectives and missions of the Alumni Association. He also briefed about the formation of the General Council and elections criteria.
His speech was followed by Chairman Dr Abdul Qadir's address in which he further elaborated his mission statement.
Online free registrations were launched by the Executive Director Dr Samie Qadir as the first alumni member along with his batch mate.
Margalla has also launched its new website (http://www.margalla.edu.pk), along with its dedicated Alumni section. Free registration along with latest news and events is regularly updated on this website.
The event ended with a tasty barbecue in the lawn of MIHS. -PR
