Operative Department at Bahria University Medical and Dental College is committed to equipping their house officers with the latest, modern evidence-based dental practices.
A “Rotary Endodontics Workshop” was recently organized by Dr Shama Ashgar and her team for the house officers currently working at Dental Hospital, BUMDC. The workshop comprised of an in-depth lecture by Professor Dr Abu Bakar Sheikh, Head of Endodontics Department, FJDC. The lecture was followed by a hands-on workshop for each of the participant facilitated by Dr Rizwan Nazeer, Dr Adeel and Dr Ayesha Zafar. Dr Abu Bakar in his lecture thoroughly explained the latest root canal preparation techniques and highlighted the ‘dos and don’ts’ that can spell success for a root canal treatment.
At the end of the workshop the honorable Chief Guest Director General Rear Admiral Imtiaz Ahmed HI(M) along with the Principal Dr Wahab Kadri and Vice Principal Dr Kulsoom Rizvi presented Dr Abu Bakar with a shield as a token of appreciation.
