JAMSHORO: Liaquat University of Medical and Health Science (LUMHS) in collaboration with Pakistan Dental Association (PDA)organized a one-day hands-on workshop at Dr Ishrat-ul-Ebad Khan Dentistry Skill Labto motivate and train dental teaching faculty of LUMHS, Bhitai Dental College and Isra University. The aim of the activity was to apprise faculty members about precautionary measures for cross infection control in daily routine practice. The workshop began with discussion on the basic principles underlying infection control and need for developing clinical protocols.Demonstrations given in small groups were attended by faculty members and dental assistants. The activity was organized by LUMHS’ Operative DentistryDepartment’s chairman, Associate Professor Dr. Abdul Qadir Dall, who is also general secretary PDA. The workshop was facilitated by Dr. Samir Riaz Qazi, Professor Institute of Dentistry, CMH Lahore Medical College. PDA president Prof Dr. Saqib Rashid gave vote of thanks.-PR
