ICME 2015; Preparing for the future challenges in health education

By Our Reporter ISTANBUL - All arrangements are final for the holing of International Conference on Medical Education (ICME) 2015 from 15th October till 18th October 2015 at Halic Congress Center, Istanbul, Turkey with the collaboration of Istanbul Medeniyet University, AMEE (An International Association for Medical Education), Bezmialem Vakıf Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi Hastanesi, T.C. İstanbul Üniversitesi and Konya Necmettin Erbakan Üniversitesi. ICME 2015 among other things will grant 21 European CME credits (ECMEC) by the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME) besides better understanding of internal and external challenges confronting health professions educations issues both nationally and internationally, it would help the experts and attendees develop strategies and recommendations to cope with the future context based challenges by using the best evidence based medical education and will give a platform to share the challenges & issues in; growth of knowledge, societal issues, technology evolution, student's involvement and support in curriculum, health care reform, accreditations and social accountability. A high profile conference ICME 2015 is hosting individuals and organizations/institutions involved in medical and health professions education to share experiences and challenges. The conference is a place where leaders in academia, faculty, allied health professionals, policy makers/educational planners, medics and paramedics/Undergraduate and Post-graduate students.
