International Disabled Day celebrated by PDC & Sir Syed Medical College
The “International Disabled Day” was celebrated by Sir Syed College of Medical Sciences in collaboration with Pak Dental Community (PDC) on 20th Dec, 2013. The community dentistry department under supervision of Dr. Marium Azfar (HOD) and Syed M Faizan (President PDC) visited Ujala Center for Parental Voice Karachi.
Over 100 Special Children were examined by 2nd Year BDS students along with a session of oral hygiene instruction and brushing technique conducted by Dr.Usman Rehman and Dr. Sumera Asif. Oral health awareness lecture was given to the teachers by Dr. Marium Azfar. Furthermore, the gesture was greatly appreciated by Dr. Zeenat Ayub (Principal), Dr. H.R Sukhia (Vice Principal) and the Director of Dental Section - Mr. Danish, who lauded the efforts of dental students and their staff for this noble deed and excellent performance.
