Karachi: JINNAH MEDICAL AND DENTAL COLLEGE held its convocation ceremony at Jinnah Medical Hospital, Korangi campus for MBBS, BDS and Pharm D students of batch 2013 and 2014. The chief guest for the event was Prof. Dr. Pirzada Qasim Raza Siddiqui - Vice Chancellor of Ziauddin University.
All graduates solemnly pledged to the oath and received degrees from the chief guest. Certificates were given to distinction holders and medals to position holders of Professional Exams. BDS Batch 2013 and 2014 earned 64 and 43 distinctions in various subjects respectively. Top performers in batch of 2013 were Ayesha Jawaid and Sidra Khan with 8 and 7 distinctions respectively.
In 2014 batch Sohaila Khan had 5 distinctions, while Madiha Inayatullah and Fareeha Jahangir scored 4 distinctions each. Dr. Ayesha Jawaid and Dr. Sohaila Khan received the shields for best graduates 2013 and 2014 respectively.
