ISLAMABAD - Pakistan Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology (PSOMP): Federal Zone held their first meeting for the calendar year under the supervision of the central president, Prof. Dr. Arshad Malik at Islamabad Club. All the oral pathologists from within the twin cities attended the meeting. Organization of the PSOMP Federal Zone was done and elections were held for the Federal Zone. Dr. Benish Zubair Khan was unanimously chosen to be the next president. Dr. Javeria Khalid became the General Secretary. All the other council members were also elected and were given their respective responsibilities. The chair congratulated all the council members. Further up-coming seminars, meetings, workshops and collaborative research projects were discussed and the council scheduled another meeting in the up-coming month. The meeting ended with a note of appreciation and thanks by the chair, Prof. Dr. Arshad Malik.
