Peshawar School attack condemned by the medical community

KARACHI - As a whole, Pakistan is grieving in great pain following Peshawar’s deadly attack. The Dow University of Health Sciences (DUHS) also organized a condolence and condemnation meeting in order to mourn the tragic incident in Army Public School, Peshawar.

Terming it as the darkest day in the history of Pakistan, Vice-Chancellor Prof Masood Hameed Khan and senior faculty members of the university including; Prof Junaid Ashraf, Prof Salahuddin Afsar, Prof Naheed Sultan said; Tthe brutal killing of school children was the worst incident of terrorism. No human can think of this kind of cold blooded massacre of children. They expressed shock and sorrow over the incident and also paid tribute to the innocent martyrs. They also asked law enforcement agencies to take indiscriminate action against all perpetrators of such incidents.

Prof Masood Hameed Khan stressed; We should not lose hope and all students and faculty must stand united against such acts of terrorism. The students of the university also expressed their views to mourn the tragic incident. Later on, the participants of the meeting offered fateha and prayed for a high place in Heavens for the innocent departed souls.
