KARACHI – A team of Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC) which recently visited Sindh Institute of Oral Health Sciences for its first comprehensive inspection on Sept 26 has declared the Institute as recognized and eligible with up to the mark standards for undergraduate studies in the field of dentistry, says a press of the SIOHS.
Jinnah Sindh Medical University’s (JSMU) Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr Tariq Rafi, Dean SIOHS Prof Dr Kefi Iqbal and faculy members facilitated the PMDC’s inspection team whose members included Prof S. Abdul Rauf Shah, Dr Laiq Hussain, Prof. Ansar Maqsood,
Prof. Zafar H. Tanweer, Prof. Ifitikhar, Prof. Dr Mujeeb, Prof. Dr Fazal Ghani and Dr Amjad Mehmood.
SIOHS, a constituent of JSMU, was established in 2015 and it’s `zero’ visit by the PMDC inspection team was conducted on Oct 16, 2015. - PR.
