Sir Syed debate competition

KARACHI- Sir Syed College of Medical Sciences held a debate competition between MBBS and BDS students recently with the topic of the debate being "Facebook- advantageous and disadvantageous". The competition was organized by Assistant Professor Dr. Marium Iqbal , Head of Department of Community Dentistry, with  SSCMS. The chief event being were Assistant Professor Dr. Nighat Zia, and Demonstrator Dr. Talha Tahir Nagi, (Department of Community Dentistry). Prof. HR Sukhia, colleges Vice-Principal & Head of Dental Section, was highly appreciative of the events and distributed the prizes amongst the winners. He stressed on the importance of debates and competitions where they express their inner feelings on current issues concerning the society and the youth thus widen the scope of understanding of the subject matter. Senior members of the medical and dental faculty were the judges at the event.  The debate was greatly enjoyed by the audience composed of students and faculty members alike.
