Basic surgical skills hands on workshop was organised by the oral and maxillofacial department at IIDC under the umbrella of ACDER. This was a post conference workshop which took place on the 18th of march 2013. Prof Dr Azhar Sheikh, assistant professor Dr Kamran Khan, Dr Mohsin Fazal and Dr Ali Khan were responsible for delivering brief lectures followed by facilitating the handson sessions. It involved various incisions and flaps, suturing techniques and maintaining IV line on manqiuens. This workshop was aimed to educate the fresh graduates to help them improve their clinical skills. All the participants learned from the practical experience and were glad to be a part of the workshop.
