The pivotal role of PDA Congress appreciated

 

KARACH- The congress chairman Dr Asif Niaz Arain, secretary Dr Ali Farhan and their team did a good job in organizing this mega event from PDA side and Mr. Ashraf Ghauri, Mr Fawaad, Mr Arif and Mr Altash were the key to the success of the largest ever DTMA show. Dental News also created history by publishing a daily newspaper on all the three days.

The well designed scientific programme revolved around the conference theme: “Multi-disciplinary Approach in Dentistry” the learned speakers provided in-depth knowledge to the participants of the congress. The international speakers who attended the congress appreciate the efforts of the scientific committee for creating learning opportunities for the participants. Prof Kashif, Dr Talha and their team deserves special praise for this outstanding achievement.

The career counseling session with a panel of experts was very interactive with lots of questions from the audience about future prospects, study abroad and opportunities in Pakistan.

The highlight of the congress was the biggest dental show put up by DTMA for which their local organizing committee deserves all the praise. Talking to Dental News Brian Ji from Korea appreciated the well managed trade show and said that his visit proved very useful. Above all he praised the organizers and said that Pakistan is definitely a safe country and promised to come again.

Another foreign trade delegate - Ian Seo was also very impressed with the size of the trade show and commented that there was no security threat in Karachi, which is a very welcoming city. He also thanked Dental News for their hospitality during his visit.

The ICCDE convocation arranged by Dental News was one of the highlights of the congress.

The three day congress received an overwhelming response, with enthusiastic participation of nearly 3,000 delegates, including; Dental Surgeons, Specialists, Faculty members, students, Dental Auxiliaries and numerous other distinguished personalities from allied trade and industry.

Dental News and Express tribune were appointed as exclusive media partners but the organizers were unable to keep the other publishers away which, was a clear breach on the part of organizers.
