UHS Changes Admission Policy


LAHORE: The spokesperson of University of Health Sciences (UHS) has said that applications for admission into affiliated private sector medical and dental colleges will be received till November 30 under centralised admission policy of Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC).  In the latest statement issued by the university, the spokesperson said that so far 2016 applications have been received for admission against 2700 MBBS and 625 BDS seats in 34 affiliated private sector medical and dental colleges. He said that admissions would be completed as per PMDC Regulations 2016.  “No private sector college affiliated with UHS is authorized carrying out admission by itself under the current centralized admission policy”, he added.


The candidates and their parents are advised to submit their applications by the due date at UHS Lahore, Rawalpindi Medical University, Rawalpindi and Nishtar Medical University, Multan.


“Only the candidates admitted through this centralized admission policy shall be registered by the University and PMDC”, he concluded.
