ANTH, IDH hold a free medical camp for Islamabad traffic police 

ISLAMABAD: A free medical and dental camp was organized for Islamabad Traffic Police officials by Akbar Niazi Teaching Hospital (ANTH) and Islamabad Dental Hospital (IDH) recently.

The camp organized at the Islamabad Traffic Police office, was conducted by a dedicated team comprising house officers, postgraduate residents, and consultants from various departments, including General Medicine, General Surgery, Ophthalmology, and Dentistry of the two hospitals.

The initiative was aimed at creating health awareness among police officials.

At the camp traffic police officials underwent thorough examinations, including medical assessments by specialists from General Medicine, General Surgery, and Ophthalmology, besides dental evaluations overseen by the Head of the Community Dentistry department, Dr Sheze Haroon Qazi, assisted by Dr Saba Masoud, an assistant professor. 

House officers played a vital role by supporting the dental team and ensuring the smooth execution of the camp.

The participants were also provided free medicines and baseline investigations such as blood pressure monitoring, body weight assessment, and blood sugar level tests. 

The camp was largely participated by officials of Islamabad Traffic Police, reflecting the commitment of the ANTH and IDH to promote community health through impactful interventions.
