Pakistani Students in Dubai Raise Funds For Pakistan's Healthcare Charity

DUBAI: Pakistani students learning in different schools of Dubai came forward to collect money for a fundraiser for Pakistan's Indus Hospital and Health Network.

An event was recently held at a local hotel in Dubai. Fifteen students aged 12 and 18 took part in the charity drive to promote free and quality healthcare for all. They urge their friends, families and social circles to raise awareness for charity work for Pakistan's vulnerable and deprived people.

The students from  Dubai College, Jebel Ali School, Jumeirah College, Jumeirah English School and Wellington International School raised over Dh 93000 in three months with the support of 195 donors. They created a page for fundraising, made calls and interact with schools and peers to raise funds.

Pakistan's Indus Network has been operating thirteen hospitals,  four regional blood centres, four rehabilitation centres, and primary care facilities in Pakistan. They provide free treatment to more than 450,000 patients every month.
