KARACHI: At least 23 more people have tested positive for Covid across the country in the past 24 hours.
As per the National Institute of Health (NIH), the country reported no Covid-related death in the last 24 hours as the number of the confirmed positive cases of the virus surged to 1,575,911 on Friday.
Meanwhile, the nationwide tally of the Covid deaths stood at 30,638.
The country has conducted 3,910 tests in the past 24 hours, out of which 23 people tested positive, NIH says, adding that the Covid positivity ratio was recorded at 0.59 per cent.
