No corona certificate required for hajj applications

ISLAMABAD: The British government has announced the removal of all travel restrictions pertaining to COVID-19.

Officials from the Federal Ministry of Health have confirmed that a Corona vaccination certificate will no longer be a prerequisite for Hajj applications. It has come to light that certain banks have been requesting Corona vaccination certificates in conjunction with Hajj applications, a requirement which is deemed unnecessary.

Authorities have indicated their intent to issue a new advisory in compliance with the directives of the Saudi government prior to the commencement of Hajj.

One official clarified that a COVID vaccination certificate will not be mandatory for entry into Pakistan. Additionally, individuals arriving in Pakistan will not be obligated to furnish a Corona negative test result.

The National Command and Operation Center (NCOC) has revealed that this decision to lift travel restrictions aligns with the guidelines set forth by the World Health Organization. Furthermore, it has been reported that the two percent corona testing previously conducted at Pakistani airports has been discontinued; nevertheless, the surveillance efforts pertaining to epidemics will persist at the airports.
