KARACHI: Final year students of BDS (Group D) had their case presentation, organised by the department of Orthodontics on 25th October 2022 as a part of their end rotation assessment. Students were assigned individual cases which they presented to Dr Arqam (Asst Professor Dental Materials) and Dr Omair (SR Orthodontics).
Each student presented a case with their key aspects such as history, examination, diagnosis, problem list, and a treatment plan relevant to their case. The students were graded on the basis of their presentation skills and their diagnostic knowledge of orthodontic cases. The best presentation title was awarded to Komal Fatima with Zia Batool being the runner-up. The key purpose of this session was to enhance their communication skills and correlate their subject knowledge with problem identification using diagnostic aids. The certificates were distributed by Dr Arqam.
