Karachi: The Prosthodontics department, Bahria University Medical and Dental College (BUMDC) recently conducted a CDE lecture on Prosthodontic Management for Edentulous Patients. The event was collaborated with the Medical Education department.
The keynote speaker of the event was Dr. Asma Naz, Associate Professor and Head of Prosthodontic Department, Jinnah Medical and Dental College. The event was organized by Dr Osama Yasin under the supervision of Dr. Saman Hakeem.
The moderator of the event, Dr Fatima Hussan welcomed the keynote speaker.
While addressing the lecture, Dr. Asma gave an insight on the topic. She shared her perspective regarding the management of edentulous patients.
After the lecture, all the participants were divided into 5 groups and a case based learning session was conducted by Dr. Saman Hakeem, Head of Prosthodontics Department. All the participants were provided with the CBL-Case Based Learning handouts for convenience.
The second session included the implications of treatment planning for edentulous patients.
Prof Dr. Wahab Kadri also graced the occasion with his presence.
Dr. Asma Naz was honoured with a shield and certificate.
