ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Medical Commission (PMC) recently clarified that grace marks in FSc, A-level, or any equivalent HSSC qualification results would not be considered for merit calculation for the admissions in medical, dental colleges and universities.

PMC, in a letter to Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto Medical University (SMBBMU), stated," Institutions must not consider any grace marks added by any provincial authority to the overall marks obtained in F.Sc. by the student."

The PMC informed universities and colleges that only the applicants' actual marks in elective subjects of  F.Sc., A-Levels or any equivalent HSSC qualification results could be utilised for calculating the merit for admissions.
