Karachi: A BUHSCK healthcare professionals team conducted a field visit to perform oral health examination of students at Taleemgah Dukhtaran-e-Awam Trust Girls High School, DHA, recently as part of Periodontology Departmental activity,
The activity was conducted in collaboration with the Inner Wheel Club and Colgate, Pakistan.
The team comprised Prof Dr Farzeen Tanwir, Head of Periodontology Department, Assistant Prof Dr Ahmed Bin Khalid, Senior Registrar Dr Natasha Zaidi, along with House officers Dr Mohsin Haider.
The target audience consisted of 250 students of class 3, 4 and 5, of 7-12 year ages.
Dr Farzeen Tanveer delivered an oral health lecture, followed by an awareness video prepared by Colgate. The house officers conducted a dental checkup under the supervision of faculty members.
The school Principal, as well as the Inner Wheel club members appreciated the efforts of BUHSCK team and Colgate Pakistan for carrying out the activity to benefit the schoolchildren. -PR
