KARACHI: Bahria University Dental College (BUDC) faculty members set up a table clinic and held an interactive session to guide the patients on oral hygiene in connection with World Oral Health Day, also distributing free toothpastes and brushes among them.
The table clinic was set up by the BUDC organising committee members, Dr Afsheen Maqsood, Associate Professor, Department of Oral Pathology, and Dr Madiha Anwar, Assistant Professor, Department of Oral Biology.
The committee was headed by Prof Dr Daud Mirza, Head of the Department of Oral Pathology.
The committee distributed free samples of toothpastes and brushes among the visitors and house officers guided them on the use of correct bushing techniques through a demonstration.
In this regard, an interactive session was also held for the dental patients visiting the OPD by Dr Maria Moin, Assistant Professor, Department of Community and Preventive Dentistry, where they were provided information about gingivitis, periodontitis, dental caries and other oral diseases.-PR
