ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Association of Orthodontists (PAO) recently hosted the 8th International Conference titled “Exploring Advanced Perspectives in Orthodontics”.
Dental News Pakistan was the exclusive media partner of the event, and Medicam Group of Companies, the exclusive sponsor.
Honourable chief guest the President of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Dr Arif Alvi, inaugurated the scientific session, which was hosted under the presidentship of Dr Syed Shah Faisal, President PAO.
This activity aimed to promote and support the orthodontist community of Pakistan and provide them with opportunities for learning and education from esteemed speakers accomplished in orthodontics from across the world.
The conference hosted national and international speakers keen to share their experiences with the attendees. More than 500 participants were registered for the conference.
This International Conference was organised virtually with 11 hands-on pre-and post-conference workshops on advanced trends and approaches in Orthodontics, all across Pakistan in cities like Multan, Hyderabad, Lahore, Karachi, Quetta, Peshawar, Rawalpindi and Islamabad.
PAO Cabinet 2021-2022 includes Dr Syed Shah Faisal, President PAO, Prof. Dr Hasnain Sakrani, Vice President PAO, Prof. Dr Rozina Nazir, General Secretary, PAO and Dr Erum Behroz, Finance Secretary, PAO.
