Government of Wales 'misleading' the public on NHS dental appointments says dentist

UNITED KINGDOM: During the start of the new year, the Welsh government had claimed that it shall be providing 112,000 more dental appointments this year due to its new reforms.

However, the BDA has since requested that these "misleading" claims may create false hopes in the public and that the statement should be reverted immediately.

Mark Travis, a dentist in the South of Whales has commented on this statement made by the government, describing the dire situation of NHS Dentistry in the country to be "on its knees", claiming that the sector requires further assistance and investment immediately. He said that such statements shall create even more pressure on dental practices in Whales.

‘Claims from the Welsh government that over 100,000 additional dental appointments will be created this financial year are simply not true, unrealistic, and giving the public in Wales a false hope".
