KARACHI: The Sindh Healthcare Commission (SHCC) started a crackdown across the Sindh province against quacks offering fake testing facilities for coronavirus patients.
Due to the recent outbreak of the coronavirus in Pakistan, quacks have become very active, particularly in the Sindh province, offering fake testing for coronavirus. The SHCC teams started field operations in Sindh after receiving the information to seal clinics offering fake testing facilities.
The Anti-Quackery Directorate teams have started operations in Sindh, especially in Karachi and Sindh.
CEO, SHCC, Dr Minhaj Qidwai, urged the public not to fall prey to the false claims of quacks and only contact facilities which are declared by the Sindh Health Department where coronavirus testing can be done.
