1st Awareness Dental Auxiliary Program in Punjab

BAHAWALNAGAR: The National Association of Dental Auxiliary of Pakistan (NADAP) recently organized its first official program in Punjab after predominantly organizing programs in the region of Sindh. The Chief Guest at this event was the District Health Officer Bahawalnagar.  On this occasion, the chief technicians of the D.H.O., namely Syed Najeeb Shah Bukhari, Dr. Syed Amdad, and Dr. Hafiz Fazal Sahab gave inaugural speeches. In their speeches, they appreciated the initiatives of NADAP and expressed the hope that NADAP will continue to organize events of this kind in the future as well. Additionally, they also emphasized that NADAP must conduct educational programs in Punjab and remaining provinces of Pakistan as well as in Sindh.



Special guest at this occasion, Rao Anwar Rao who attended the program from Faisalabad, also expressed similar opinions in his speech and lauded NADAP’s initiatives. Furthermore, he also discussed the importance of establishing a legal checking system for curtailing the spread of quack doctors in the country and recommended that the quack issue of Pakistan be looked into properly.



Vice President Punjab Zone Sohail Sahab gave a vote of thanks to the attendants of the event especially those who had travelled from out of city including from Karachi. He said that NADAP intends to organize many educational programs in all the cities of Punjab to spread awareness and promote the profession of dental auxiliary.



President NADAP Mr. Tariq Askari thanked the attendants of the program for their participation and emphasised that NADAP is currently focused on initiating several developments in Punjab and this progress will not be slowed down now. He said that he is hopeful that in the following period of time, NADAP will be hosting educational programs, symposiums and workshops for all dental auxiliaries and related dental care professionals in Punjab as well as in the other provinces of Pakistan.
