Islamabad: As many as 100 more persons tested positive for the coronavirus in the country during the last 24 hours, while no death was reported.
According to the data issued by the National Institute of Health (NIH), the number of confirmed Covid-19 cases surged to 1,578,359.
The nationwide tally of the fatalities caused by the virus stood at 30,645 on Monday.
Pakistan has conducted 3,147 tests in the past 24 hours, out of which 100 people tested positive.
The Covid positivity ratio was recorded at 3.18 percent.
