Dental care has been always a neglected subject in our society; the increase in registered cases of Oral Cancer and various gum diseases is alarming.  Professionals for eyes, skin, gynecology, psychiatry, general medicine, child specialists, dentists, E.N.T, all were present at this camp. Facilities like, computerized eye testing, X-ray, ultrasound were available for the patients. Tokens were collected from the patients according to their needs and were assessed by the trained medical and dental doctors, respectively.

Around 100+ patients underwent oral health examination, and it was observed that awareness regarding oral hygiene and its maintenance was quite low in residents of Manghopir. Patients suffering from dental caries, gingivitis, and periodontitis and oral sub mucous fibrosis were commonly seen. The camp also held an exhibition, based on books containing information regarding various diseases, and basics of dental and medical care. A mini pharmacy was also present, that catered all patients and provided them with free medicines.

Experts discussed various aspects of oral health care and hygiene maintenance and responded to patient queries. In depth discussion of tobacco usage and its deadly consequences took place, making everyone aware of all the symptoms.

Lastly, the prize distribution ceremony took place, where the Chief Guest awarded shields and certificates, as a token of appreciation to all the supervisors, participants and volunteers.
