KARACHI - The department of Oral Diagnosis & Medicine at Sir Syed Dental Hospitalorganized a poster competitionfor the 3rd year BDS students recently.The team of Judges for this poster competition included;Dr.Ajeet Kumar - Head & Assistant Professor Oral Surgery Department (SSCMS) and Dr. Yousuf Moosa- Head & Assistant Professor Periodontology Department (SSCMS).
Dr.MahreenShahzad (Head of Oral Diagnosis & Medicine Department, SSCMS) was the chief organizer of the program. The poster competition was also supervised by Dr. RaheelaFaraz&Dr. M. Shoaib lecturers of Oral Diagnosis & Medicine Department.
Two groups participated in the poster competition and each group had 6 students. The topics of poster competition were; Dental Radiology & Pulpitis.The judges evaluated and marked different aspects of the poster competition. The 1stPrizewas awarded to Group A: Ayesha Aslam, Ayesha Mushtaq, Arooj, Anum, Arshama, Bakhtawar.
At the end of the poster competition, the Judges encouraged the efforts of 3rd year BDS students and distributed certificates among them. -PR
