JAMSHORO: Dr Kashif Ali Channar was promoted to Professor and Chairman of the Department of Oral & Maxillo Facial Surgery at LUMHS, Jamshoro.
Prof Channar has a decent Impact factor of 14. He has more than 60 research national and international publications in peer-reviewed journals. Moreover, he is also a reviewer of national and international journals.
Currently, he is supervising the 8 FCPS trainees and 7 MSc trainees. Many of his postgraduate students are serving in different institutes in Pakistan. He has also been enrolled in the MCPS in Medical Education.
Prof. Channar has a remarkable role in the field of OMFS. His maxillofacial department is one of the best and state-of-the-art departments, dealing with all maxillofacial trauma, pathology, cancer and reconstruction surgeries.
