KARACHI: Community Policing Karachi (CPK) took the initiative to raise awareness among society, particularly students, through an informative session on Community Policing and Environment. The event took place on May 27th (today) at KMDC. Chief Guest, DIG Karachi Police Javed Alam Odho, and Guest of Honour Dr Syed Saifur Rehman, Administrator Karachi, graced the occasion. The event was organized by Prof Dr Nasir Ali Khan and Murad Soni, Chief CPK.
During the session, DIG Karachi Javed Alam acknowledged the dedicated efforts of CPK in organizing the awareness session despite the various challenges faced in the city. He expressed his gratitude to the event organizers and stressed the vital role of community policing, security, and crime control in ensuring the safety of our peoples. Javed Alam also highlighted the collaborative efforts between CPK, societies, and DHA, as they signed MoUs to implement street cameras for enhanced crime prevention.
Chief CPK, Murad Soni, highlighted the significance of cleanliness and greenery in his address, emphasizing their role in maintaining a healthy environment.
