KARACHI: The police arrested a fake lady doctor who allegedly robbed the patients visiting Dr Ruth Pfau Civil Hospital, Karachi on Wednesday.
According to police, the woman posing as a doctor would administer anesthetic injections to the patients on the pretext of treating them and later flee with their mobile phones and other valuables after they become unconscious.
The police claimed that the fake doctor had also confessed to have committed several crimes at the hospital.
The victims of the fraudster complained to the hospital administration after they were robbed of their valuables at the Cardiology Ward of the CHK
after whichshe was nabbed with the help of CCTV footage.
A case was registered on the complaint of a victim woman, after anesthesia injections and stolen mobile phones were recovered from the suspect.
According to the police, the suspect, a resident of Korangi, had just intermediate qualification.
