Karachi: 3rd Educational Research Day was organized by Department of Educational Development (AKUH) in collaboration with Department of Continuing Professional Education at Aga Khan University Hospital Karachi, recently. The event highlighted innovations and transformations in medical education as one of the key areas of accreditation councils worldwide to raise the standards of undergraduates and postgraduate medical and dental students.
Among the participants were Dr Kiran Mehboob from Dental Section, Bahria University Medical and Dentistry College (BUMDC). She presented her poster about the educational innovational study conducted at BUMDC supervised by Dr Kulsoom Fatima Rizvi Vice Principle, dental section, BUMDC. Dr Kiran’s research was already published in HEC recognized journal in 2019.
In this event; 95% studies conducted in AKUH premises were presented and only 5% were from other Institutes in which Bahria University was one of them. The event was an impressive platform where educational innovations are presented and further confidence is gained for more novel approaches incorporated in Medical Education nationally and worldwide.
