DN Report Karachi: The 4th International Conference of Pakistan Association of Orthodontists got underway at the prestigious Aga Khan University at Karachi today. There are 14 international speakers coming from all over the world to attend this conference as speakers and conduct workshops. Renowned orthodontists from Pakistan will also present their state of the art lectures. The conference started with the recitation of Holy Quran by Dr Taha Mehmood followed by the first Scientific Session. Dr Maheen welcomed Chairperson Dr Imran Tajik; Co-chairperson Dr Irfan Qamaruddin with Dr Tabassum as Moderator. The first speaker of the session was Dr Gurkeet Singh, and followed by Dr Richard Fernandes and Dr Ahmed Koryem. The conference chairman is Dr Mubassar Fida, co-chairperson is Dr Attiya Shaikh, vice chairman is Dr Syed Shah Faisal, and Dr Abdullah Kamran is the conference secretary. There is an extensive scientific programme in addition to more than 14 state-of-the-art workshops. There are 14 international speakers attending the moot besides the elite of the dental professionals from across Pakistan who have converged on a single platform to make this academic event a success. The pre-conference workshops of the 4th International Conference of Pakistan Association of Orthodontists have already received an overwhelming response.
