LAHORE: 3rd Annual Intercollegiate Conference, ABCD - Annual BDS Conference & Dine was held in local community hall here. The aim of the event was to celebrate & nurture the diversity of the future young dental populace. The event provided students with a platform to discuss varied significant topics faced by the dental community.
The luncheon was organized by group of students from various dental institutes all across Pakistan. The core organizing cabinet comprised of Muhammad Rehan from Nishtar Institute of Dentistry, Multan as Chief Executive Officer (CEO), with Sohail Asghar, Nishtar Institute of Dentistry, Multan as a President along with Co-organizers. Leaders from various colleges named as Uzair Malik, de’Montmorency College of Dentistry, Lahore, Esha Mansoor, FMH College of Medicine & Dentistry, Sana Zahra, Bakhtawar Amin Medical & Dental College, Multan, Mahnoor Hashmi, Multan Medical and Dental College, Arslan Shahid, Bahria University of Medical and Dental College, Aitisaam Amir, Faryal Dental College Sheikhupura, Laiba Jamil, Lahore Medical & Dental College, Rameen Akmal, University Medical & Dental College, Yumna Fatima, Watim Dental College Rawalpindi, Mahnoor Mir, Islam Dental College, Zainab Iqbal and Sohera Ishaq, Nishtar Institute of Dentistry, Fatima Aslam and Rabia Naseem, Dental Section, Faisalabad Medical University and different representatives from different classes.
Prominent dental figures spoke to the participants including Prof. Dr. Arshad Mahmood Malik. He urged the participants to actively participate in the activities and encouraged them to work for the betterment of the country.
Dr. Omer Farooq and Dr. Zahra Masood, Pakistan Academy of Advanced Dentistry (PAAD), Dr. Aqib Mudassar, Ideal Smile and Next Level Dentistry, Dr. Nabeel Naeem Baig and Dr. Rashid Hassan were also invited.
