Karachi: Renowned academician and leading orthodontist Dr. Bahram Ghassemi, DMD MSD, recently conducted an informative one-day lecture and workshop at Altamash Institute of Dental Medicine (AIDM).
Dr. Bahram has been practicing orthodontics in Boston since 1985, and is a diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics. He received his dental training and a certificate of Advanced Graduate Study in Orthodontics at the Boston University School of Dental Medicine.
He currently serves as an Associate Clinical Professor, Department of Orthodontics at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. His research has been published in several leading journals of Orthodontics and Pediatric Dentistry and is an esteemed member of leading professional dental associations.
His lecture and workshop on Orthodontics was attended by AIDM’s Faculty members, house officers, undergraduate and postgraduate students. The lecture was comprehensive and helped immensely in formulating concepts.
Later on, he mingled with the Postgraduate students of AIDM, posted in the department of Orthodontics and discussed their Orthodontic cases. The trainees learned a lot from Dr. Bahram’s experience and benefitted greatly from his presence at the institute.
AIDM’s team thanked him for taking out time from his schedule to motivate and spread knowledge amongst the aspiring orthodontists.
