All Pakistan DUHS-DICE Health Innovation Exhibition set to launch

KARACHI: The fifth All Pakistan DUHS-DICE Health Innovation exhibition is set to begin from October 16 at the Expo Center in Karachi. The Dow University of Health Sciences, one of the country’s leading health education institutes, is organizing the event.

This is Pakistan’s biggest event on health research and innovation, and after the success of four preceding events, the fifth installment is all set for launch.

Vice-Chancellor, Dow University of Health Sciences, Prof Mohammed Saeed Quraishy, emphasized the significance of the event with respect to the health sector of Pakistan and stated that local health innovations are the solution to the challenges faced by the Pakistani population.

Chairperson, DUHS-DICE Health, Prof Zarnaz Wahid, highlighted that the participation lineup for this year’s event is expected to garner greater success compared to the previous four events. She also highlighted that the DUHS is focused on research, and this upcoming event is evidence of the DUHS’s motivation to the cause.

Chief Organizer, DUHS-DICE Health, Dr Kashif Shafique, elaborated that the idea of the exhibition is to bridge the gap between academia and industry and incorporate the government level decision-makers for the facilitation of the process. He also briefed about the event mentioning that this year, the DUHS-DICE Health Innovation Exhibition involves the participation of over 40 institutions/universities from Pakistan. International participants have also been invited from Malaysia and the USA. This Health Innovation Exhibition will display more than 400 innovative projects from all across Pakistan.

The organizing team gave a combined message to the students and faculty of health sciences in Pakistan to join hands, become a part of the biggest health innovative event of Pakistan, and encourage the future entrepreneurs of our country.
