The annual prize distribution ceremony of 2012-2017’s batch of Bachelors of Dental Surgery (BDS) was held at University College of Dentistry, The University of Lahore.
Mr. Awais Raoof; Chairman BoG, UOL and Mr. Uzair Raoof were invited as the Chief Guest and Guest of Honour, respectively. Deputy Chairman, UOL and Director Student Affairs, Mrs. Ammara Awais, Pro rector Health Sciences, Prof. Shahid Mahmood Malik, Dean UCMD Prof. Dr. Moghees A Baig and Medical Superintendent, University Dental Hospital Dr. Muhammad Aslam were also present at the occasion, and distributed medals and certificates among the position holders and participants of co-curricular activities.
Addressing the graduating dentists, Mr. Awais Raoof congratulated them and appreciated their hard work and announced the Fatima Scholarship for position holders. The Chairman also lauded the efforts of teachers and parents in supporting the students and providing them with optimum guidance.
The Dean of UCMD motivated the graduating class to continue pursuing their professional capabilities and provide good care to needy patients, in an ethical and professional manner.
Medical Superintendent, Dr. Muhammad Aslam also emphasized upon the need to uphold the cultural and religious values while performing their respective duties.
At the end of the ceremony, the students shared their special memories and thanked their teachers for providing an excellent learning and supportive environment.
