"Anyone who stops learning is old" - BMCH’s dental dept organizes CME session

QUETTA- Dentistry is an ever evolving field with new research coming up regularly and hence keeping abreast with all the basic knowledge is mandatory for dental professionals. Or else, according to Henry Ford, “Anyone who stops learning is old”.

These golden words were said at a well-attended session held under the aegis of BMCH’s dental department/oral and maxillofacial surgery (OMFS) as a part of continuing dental/medical education (CME).    
Prof Rauf Shah, head of dental department/OMFS), BMCH, recently took an initiative in starting continuing dental/medical education programme.

The first session in this connection was held in BMCH, Quetta where the OMFS consultants and dental surgeons were also part of it. BMCH’s medical superintendent Dr Masood Qadir was the chief guest on the occasion.

Dr Anum Habib, an FCPS-II resident, gave presentation on primary Oral ulcers, covering all aspects of the topic in detail. Later, the presentation was followed by a lively discussion under the supervision of Prof Rauf Shah.

Participants of the session were informed that a series of presentations on different related topics will be arranged to achieve the goals of the much-needed CME.
The participants of the session were told that the CME is aimed at providing members of dental department an opportunity to improve their knowledge and skills. -PR
