The Department of Community Dentistry, Baqai Dental College (BDC), organized a Clinical Observational Rotation, for the students of 2nd year BDS, to the Department of Oral Diagnosis for study purposes. This rotation was carried out under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Asghar Ali Shigri, alongside his team members Dr. Samreen Mazhar, Dr. Raza Abidi, Dr. Mahwish Bano and Dr. Ali Leghari.
The aim of this rotation was to gain knowledge regarding patient record sheet and its importance. Dr. Naseem Ahmed Khan, in charge, Oral Diagnosis, BDC demonstrated the art of History Taking and explained various aspects of the Patient Record sheet.
The students of 2nd year BDS were then divided into small groups, under the supervision of Dr. Samreen Mazhar, Dr. Raza Abidi, Dr. Mahwish Bano and Dr. Ali Leghari.
Three patients were observed by every group and record sheets were filled. Important points regarding the observed dental diseases were clearly explained to the students. Assignments were allotted to each student for further learning.
