Larkana: The Department of Community Dentistry and 2nd year BDS students at Bibi Aseefa Dental College Larkana organized Community Dentistry Awareness Program in two schools namely Government (Pilot) Higher secondary School and Saint Joseph High school, Larkana under the supervision Dr Abdul Bari Memon; HOD along with of Dr Muhammad Amin Sahito; Lecturer. Students delivered lectures about the prevention of dental diseases and promoted oral health.They emphasized on primordial and primary prevention that included deduction of bad habits like smoking, pan, chalia, gutka etc and encouragedtooth brushing, flossing, tongue cleaning and healthy diet.Lectures and oral health instructions were given to school children with the help of posters, models,and audio visual aids. A Dental mobile Unit was setup by College for free Dental screening. The programme was organized with the support of the Department of Community Dentistry, Principal, Administration and SMBBMU.-PR
